Description
The main objective of this project is to achieve savings regarding the costs of electric and thermal energy in the buildings of NAA. This will also lead to a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, which directly corresponds with the objectives of this scheme "Promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in municipal and state buildings and local district heating". For the building of II Primary School "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov": After the implementation of all proposed ESM, the building will have a total specific annual consumption 46 kWh / m2 or total annual energy consumption 309 825 kWh / year, which will meet the requirements of energy class "B". For the building of 6 OU and Foreign Languages High School "Ivan Vazov": After the implementation of all proposed ESM, the building will have specific annual consumption of 94.1 kWh / m2, or annual expense 558 848 kWh / year, which will meet the requirements of energy class "B". For the building of ODZ 3 "Rodopchanche"After the implementation of all proposed ESM, the building will have specific annual consumption of 78,6 kWh / m2, or annual expense 69 857 kWh / year, which will meet the requirements of energy class "B".
Summary of project results
The objective of the project is to implement energy efficiency and renewable energy measures in II OU Prf. D-r Asen Zlatarov and ODZ 3 Rodopchanche”. The target of the project - replacement of the fuel base and heating installation" in the building of the II OU "Prof. Dr. Zlatarov and replacement of the fuel base and heating installation and installation of a solar system for domestic hot water" in the building of ODZ 3 "Rodopchanche" was achieved. The envisaged replacement of the fuel base" in the building of 6 OU and Foreign Languages High School "Ivan Vazov" dropped due to the necessity of more funds for its implementation. With signing the Annex 1 of 12.04.2016, the funds for this activity were transferred to finance the other two objects under the project. Supplementary agreement was signed for kindergartens “Sinchets”, “Zornitsa” and “Veselushko” in Smolyan Municipality. The target of the supplementary agreement was the implementation of construction works including supply and installation of solar system in the buildings of kindergartens “Sinchets”, “Zornitsa” and “Veselushko” in Smolyan Municipality. The existing installation for domestic hot water, by providing highly selective installation, battery and heat boiler system for heating domestic hot water were reconstructed and solar systems in the buildings of kindergartens “Sinchets”, “Zornitsa” and “Veselushko”, in Smolyan Municipality were supplied and installed. As a result reduction of 175 CO2 t/year is achieved.
Summary of bilateral results
The contacts and connections made during the execution of the common activities with the Norwegian partners grew into beneficial partnership, which continued in the second project under program BG04 and the both sides are ready to continue after the implemetation of the projects. During the project good practices and experience were exchanged between the Beneficiary and Norwegian Partner. In the period 25 - 29 April 2016 was conducted working visit of representatives of the Norwegian project partner “Enøk-Senteret” for exchange of good practices and experience in the sphere of effective energy. The kindergarden and the school in Smolyan Municipality, which are objects of intervention in the project, were visited. On the 27th of April 2016 in the building of the municipality was conducted a tranning for presentation the experience of Norway and “Enøk-Senteret” in effective energy management and use of renewable energy. In the training took part representatives of institutions from the municipality, which buildings are municipal property - kindergarten, schools, museum and others. In the period 16-19 August 2016 was conducted the second part of the activity - three project team members visited Orsta, Norway about the exchange of good practices. : In the period 2-6 April 2017 was conducted working visit of representatives of the Norwegian project partner “Enøk-Senteret” for exchange of good practices and experience. They visited the objects of the project under procedure BG04-02-03 to see the implementation. On the 4th of April 2017 in the building of the municipality was conducted a work meeting for presentation the experience of Norway and “Enøk-Senteret” in effective energy management and use of renewable energy, and partly of the solar energy, and the possibilities for implementation of energy efficiency measures in the private houses. In the meeting took a part represenatatives of institutions from the municipality, which buildings are municipal property.
