The overall objective of the project proposal is to increase energy efficiency in municipal educational infrastructure in Vratsa. Specific objectives of the project proposal are: 1. Fully implemented energy efficiency measures in five sites of the educational infrastructure of the town. Vratsa: Kindergarten "Zvanche", Kindergarten "Detski svyat", Primary school "Ivan Vazov", Secondary School "Nikola Voyvodov" and Mathematics school “Acad. Ivan Tsenov”. 2. Promotion of sustained economic growth of Vratsa, by reducing energy consumption. 3. Construction of a modern educational infrastructure. 4. Improving the living conditions of residence of the children and students. 5. Ensuring social inclusion and equal access of disadvantaged groups, incl. Roma and people with disabilities to quality learning environment. 6. Creation of jobs for specialists who will participate in the implementation of activities on implementing energy efficiency measures in educational infrastructure. 7. Promotion of the financial assistance received from the EEA Financial Mechanism.
Summary of project results
The overall objective of the project proposal is to increase energy efficiency in the municipal educational infrastructure of the city of Vratsa - Renewable Educational Infrastructure, Reduction of Energy Supply Costs, Reductions in CO2, according to the calculations in the Energy Surveys (t / year of CO2 emissions - 1430,60 + 46,19, according to the investigations recorded in the form or 1476,79 + 71,0 when updating EE for "VasilKonchov" High School. The specific objectives of the project proposal are: 1. The entrepreneur - effective measures in the SSTT site of the educational infrastructure of Vratsa: Kindergarten "Zvanche", Kindergarten Kindergarten, Ivan Vazov Secondary School, Nikola Voyvodov Secondary School, Acad. Ivan Tsenov "and High School" VasilKonchov ". 2. Promotion of the Sustainable Economic Growth Municipality of Vratsa by reducing energy consumption. 3. Building Modern Educational Infrastructure - the project has supported the process of the overall modernization of the schools in the municipality of Vratsa 4. Improving the social and living conditions for the residence of children and pupils - in schools created better conditions for students and staff 5. Ensuring social inclusion and equal access of disadvantaged groups, incl. Roma and people with disabilities, to a qualitative learning environment - the project is targeted at school leavers, incl. And disadvantaged groups 6. Creation of jobs for the personnel participating in the implementation of the measures for energy efficiency of the educational infrastructure - during the implementation of the project activities more than 300 employees working in the field of the activities 7. Promoting the financial support received from the EEA Financial Mechanism - the assistance received from the EEA FM has been popularized with more than 50 publications in various media.
Summary of bilateral results
Partner collaboration has been judged to be successful on both sides. During the workshops, as well as the Final Meeting in Oslo in March 2017, ideas for new projects were identified and the willingness to use the best experience of everyone - Vratsa Municipality and NorskEnergy - for the implementation of new projects . NorskEnergy has experience in Norwegian and European legislation that can be used in shaping future municipal energy efficiency policies in Bulgaria.
