Programme Summary
Why is the programme needed? The Hungarian educational and training system and institutions are currently undergoing fundamental changes. Transnational impulses that support the sector in its efforts to renew its education/training offer and methods are essential in order to enhance the Hungarian participation in European processes in the sector. The programme contributes to these processes by supporting international cooperation and implementing mutual mobility between Hungary and the Donor States. It provides opportunities for Hungarian institutions to establish long-lasting cooperation with institutions from the Donor States. The programme will contribute to filling a funding gap when it comes to cooperation and mobility with Donor States. What will the programme achieve? The programme will stimulate mobility of students and staff and cooperation between educational institutions at all levels. The intention is to enhance internationalisation of the education sector through increasing the number of outgoing and incoming students and staff and encouraging common cooperation projects that will enhance the quality and relevance of the education provided at all levels. How will it be achieved?- Increased number of staff exchanges in higher education, secondary education, vocational education and training, and adult education;
- Increased number of exchanges of higher education students;
- Increased number of common cooperation projects in Higher Education between Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Hungary.
