Description
The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernisation of four public buildings in Mecinka, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 8 January 2007 and to the additional information provided by the Focal Point dated 4 April 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: Thermal insulation of four public buildings in Mecinka Commune: 1. Primary School in Pomocne (Plot no. 238); 2. Communal Culture Centre in Mecinka (Plot no. 668); 3. Secondary School and Gymnasium in Mecinka (Plot no. 927); 4. Health Centre in Piotrowice (Plot no. 508). The works will consist of: - thermal insulation of walls, roofs and ceilings in all the buildings; - replacement of windows in all the buildings; - replacement of doors in all building except the Health Centre in Piotrowice ; - modernisation of the central heating system in all the buildings; - publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Mecinka Commune. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
