Description
The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernisation of eleven public buildings in the Ropczycko-Sedziszowski District, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 8 January 2007 and to the additional information provided by the Focal Point dated 26 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: Thermal insulation of eleven public buildings: 1-2. Two buildings of the Reverend Doctor Jan Zwierz School Complex (14 Mickiewicza St); 3. the T. Kosciuszki Secondary School building in Ropczyce; 4. the Special Child-care and Education Centre building in Ropczyce (14 Card S. Wyszynski St.); 5. the Practical Education Centre in Ropczyce (Knopnickiej 1 St); 6. the Agro-technical Schools Complex buildings in Ropczyce (13 Mickiewicza St); 7-9. the Vocational Schools Complex buildings (three buildings located in 3rd May St., Wyspianski St. and Szeroka St.) in Sedziszów Malopolski; 10. the Health Care Centre Complex building in Ropczyce (54 Card S. Wyszynski); 11. and the Secondary School building in Sedziszów (Malopolski Fabryczna 5 St). The works will consist of : - thermal insulation of walls and ceilings; - replacement of windows and doors; - modernisation of the central heating installation; - publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Ropczycko-Sedziszowski district. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
