Description
The purpose of the Project is to increase access to preventive and health services, with the overall objective of improving the health of children and youths through reduction of social pathologies including the use of drugs and alcohol. Reference is made to the application, dated 18 May 2006, and to correspondence from the Focal Point dated 24 October 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - school prevention program; - community youth outreach centres and extracurricular clubs (operated by the Friends of Children Association); - social support groups for children and youth; - conference on prevention of addictions; - training for social support groups; - promotional activities. The Project Promoter is the Municipal Offices in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The Project Promoter will implement the Project together with its Polish partner, the Friends of Children Association. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
