Description

The purpose of the Project is to increase the attractiveness of the programme offered by the Rogalin Branch of the National Museum in Poznan, improve the quality of the museum, located in the Rogalin Palace, and improve in the conditions of display and storage of the museum’s collection. The overall objective of the project is to improve in the quality of branded cultural tourism projects in the region of Wielkopolska. Reference is made to the application, dated 12 May 2006 and further correspondence with the Focal Point of 23 June and 6 November 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities: Construction works encompassing the reconstruction and renovation of the main building of the palace in Rogalin; reconstruction of the central heating system; installation of alarm and access control systems; installation of ventilation, air-conditioning, water and wastewater systems and upgrading of the electrical system. Main results include: Renovation of the palace and park complex in Rogalin; modernisation of the technical infrastructure of the palace complex in Rogalin and new jobs created as a result of the project implementation. The Project Promoter is the National Museum in Poznan. The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
