Description
The purpose of the Project is to create a well functioning Geographical Information System model for the Lubimets municipality, with the overall objective of strengthening the administrative capacities of the Lubimets municipality. Reference is made to the application dated 23 April 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - preparation of tenders and procurement of hardware and software; - implementation of the Geographical Information System (GIS) for Lubimets municipality (including integration of all data into the newly built system); - Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software training for municipality staff and promotional workshops introducing the GIS model to other municipalities; - management and publicity measures. The Project Promoter is the Lubimets municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Finance provides at least 15.00 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
