The project envisages the improvement of quality education, exchange of good practices and the overall modernization of higher education institutions. The mobility exchange will allow Danubius University's teaching staff to interact with international students and experience new working, teaching and learning methods. Danubius University is partnering with Bifrost University (Iceland), the University of Iceland, and the University of Liechtenstein. The donor partners' role is to ensure the proper mobility framework. The partnership will achieve increased educational cooperation between Danubius University and the other partner universities, and lay the grounds for extended cooperation in other fields of mutual interest.

Summary of project results

The mobility project was needed to support the internationalization process through teaching and administrative staff mobility with EEA partner universities. The main objective was to increase the number of EEA mobility beneficiaries and develop partnership opportunities in other fields of mutual interest. Through the project there were five outgoing mobilities to the donor partners; three outgoing staff mobilities to Bifrost University in Iceland - including one teaching staff in Political Science and one teaching staff in Economics, one outgoing staff mobility to Liechtenstein University, and one outgoing staff mobility to the University of Iceland The projects outputs are reflected by the specific achievements of mobility beneficiaries. A total of five teaching staff interacted with international students, compared curricula with the host universities and had access to new didactic materials while staff training beneficiaries experienced new working methods. The main benefit for the beneficiaries was the fact that EEA experience represented a learning experience, beneficiaries identified working mechanisms that could facilitate and develop their activity, they observed the tools and instruments used in the activity by partner universities. The donor partnership achieved increased cooperation among people which is consequently reflected in cooperation among institutions. The mobility allowed mutual knowledge regarding educational systems, ways of performing activities and cultural aspects. The results will be sustained through internal support for applying best practices and communication with partner universities for further developing cooperation
