Description

The project's goal is to build a Children Day Care Centre (CDCC) in Silale to ensure social services home development and improve the welfare of children in risk groups. The project's target group is children at risk in the municipalities of the Silale district. The CDCC will not only address the physiological needs of these children, but also their need for self-expression. It will help form and develop their social skills and character. The project will also equip the first multifunctional sports area in Silale, introduce a new family empowerment service for risk group families, purchase equipment and CDCC performance measures, help develop life skills of children and provide inter-agency cooperation. This project will expand the scope of the CDCC to a socio-educational institution, with services aimed at improving the pedagogical care and extra curriculum activities of children at risk. Through actively working not only with the children but also with their parents, the project will help improve the microclimate in disadvantaged families and reduce the chances that these children have to enter into foster homes.
