Description

Elimination of special trips in logistic sector helps to save the natural environment and reduce the burden on transport infrastructure. In that context the project idea is to develop social network-based courier service. The development idea consists of three interconnected integrated components: website, mobile application and automatic parcel terminals. Conventional special trips based courier service is going to be replaced by a network of people who don’t make extra costs to carry the parcels, but rather carrying parcels is an additional source of funding for the voyages to be made. This project, supported under the small grant scheme, will aim to further elaborate the project idea with the aim of preparing the project application for the main open call under the GII programme. The project aim is to carry out business analyses (market research, competition and marketing study), to prepare a business plan, cost-benefit analysis and to develop ICT solutions concept.
