Description
The overall aim is tu support skills in applying qualitative research in pedagogical and social psychological research with focus on inclusive education. This will be done through number of activities, incl. individual library research of international resources, individual consulations with experts at host university, job shadowing of host/expert, collection of data as a part of ongoing research of the applicant and guest lecture presenting current research of applicant. Project is based on previous cooperation with prof. Agnes Andenaes, Psychology department, Faculty of Social Studies, University in Oslo, which allows for smooth and quick organization of activities. Dr. Andenaes is an expert in both conducting qualitative research and teaching its application to students and her support and knowledge has already proved to be enourmously useful for the applicant.
Summary of project results
UiO offers numerous events in English, excellent library, incl. e-sources. Beneficiary participated at the Basic Course in Qualitative Resarch Methodology, Department for Education, or open lecture: Ethical issues in the study of multilingualism. With prof. Andenaes they have discussed number of issues - practical realization of the research, readings, current researches in NO, relevant changes in policies or mentoring. Beneficiary had an opportunity to present my research as a case study in her class Qualitative research, BA. level, app. 80 students.
