Description
Shadowing of teaching of professionals from Centre for Gender Research at University of Oslo - courses:KFL2060 - Gender Equality in the Nordic Countries and KFL4000 - Interdisciplinary Research Methodologies and Thesis Writing Course for Gender Studies. The applicant will benefit from them by enhancing her knowledge about historical development of gender equality measures in the Nordic region and acquiring ability to use multi- and interdisciplinary research methodologies and epistemologies relevant to gender and feminist studies. Applicant will implement acquited knowledge into the content of her courses offered for students at Ostrava University,use methodologies appropriate for gender analysis in her research, and develop gender equality measures in her administrative work as Head of the Department of Philosophy.
Summary of project results
During research stay, beneficiary acquired knowledge about the development of gender equality in Norway and recent social situation from gender point of view, and about methodologies for gender research. The outcomes were reached by shadowing the courses and by individual consultations and discussions with the teachers of the courses and other professionals from the Centre for Gender Research at Oslo University.
