Description

The planned mobility is focused on increasing the capacity of applicant as well as sharing best practices in the areas of Development and the Environment. Both applicant and hosting institute are active in fields of Development studies and Environmental Studies. The topic is highly relevant but mostly underdeveloped within the Czech universities due to low tradition of development studies in general and political ecology in particular. Therefore there is a need for increasing local (Czech) capacity and strengthening international cooperation. Long tradition and expertise of the host institution is critical for achieving these objectives. The combination of Environmental and Development Studies is relatively rare and therefore both sides see potential in starting the cooperation. The future outcomes can include ERASMUS+ cooperation, common research proposals or common research papers.
