Description

The project is in the field of German cultural studies. The applicant intends to prepare a monograph paper on the cultural identity and history of Liechtenstein. to study and examine all the materials and papers available at the Institute of Lichtenstein dedicated to cultural topics - political culture and system, history, cultural heritage etc. by study and discussions with professional in the field from the Institute concerned. the students and the academic community in both countries to provide access to the library and the books needed; assisted in arranging visits.

Summary of project results

to study and examine all the materials and papers available at the Institute of Lichtenstein dedicated to cultural topics - political culture and system, history, cultural heritage etc. the objectives have been entirely achieved; two draft research papers, entitled: "Between Austria and Switzerland: problems related to Lichtenstein's identity" and "The unknown art of the Principality of Lichtenstein" have been prepared. Both will become part of the upcoming monography, entitled: "Cultural History of Lichtenstein", a joint research project worth Dr. Maria Endreva. over 5000 pages of the existing research papers at the library of the Institute, dedicated to the Principality of Lichtenstein have been digitalized. Now, as a result, a digitalized archive of materials dedicated to history, economy, literature, arts and music in the Principality of Lichtenstein has been created to the benefit of all students and other interested audience.

Summary of bilateral results

over 5000 pages of the existing research papers at the library of the Institute, dedicated to the Principality of Lichtenstein have been digitalized. Now, as a result, a digitalized archive of materials dedicated to history, economy, literature, arts and music in the Principality of Lichtenstein has been created to the benefit of all students and other interested audience.
