Launch conference: Czech 'Pilot Studies and Surveys on CCS Technology' programme

The programme addresses the need for increased knowledge and awareness of carbon capture and storage (CCS) as a mitigating measure against climate change. During the launch conference, the programme will be presented alongside a discussion on CCS in broader European context and the Norwegian experience.Projects taking place under the programme will be presented, including a research pilot project on CO2 geological storage, a study of CCS pilot technologies for coal fired power plants, as well as a project researching high temperature CO2 sorption from flue gas using carbonate loop.The launch conference, which is open to the public, will see the participation of the Czech Ministry of Finance, the Czech Ministry of the Environment, as well as organisations participating in the implemention of projects supported through the programme.Read more about the 'Pilot Studies and Surveys on CCS Technology' programmeRead more about the EEA and Norway Grants to the Czech Republic
