Summary of project results
The project aimed at developing the capacity for synergy in conflict transformation activities by building the I4P Romania Network and transfer to organisations from Romania the capacity to operate with restorative practices approaches. The long-term goal that the project was aiming for was establishing and ensuring the functionality of the I4P Romania Network, and it has been accomplished by involving 15 NGOs from various domains in the network’s activity. Also, 6 think-tanks are active under the umbrella of I4P Romania. Among the project results and products, could be mentioned: I. Toolkits on 3 topics: Conflicts’ Complex Analysis; Intervention Design for Dialogue, Mediation and Conflict Transformation; Reconciliation through Restorative Practices. All these products have been published online and are available in Romanian. II. Three guides for approaching and resolution for different types of conflicts: identity nature (ethnic, racial, gender, religious/confessional), participatory nature (cultural, media, environmental, work, displacement and negation of history), procedural nature (denial of participation, indoctrination and bigotry, social-political-religious-nationalist, fear and terror). Regarding advocacy activities and the needed recognition at public level, 6 petitions were launched, one White Paper was published and 12 advocacy activities were carried out. https://issuu.com/i4p3. Also, 94 participants have been trained and actively participated in trainings and in the piloting modules of the guides. The knowledge and the experience achieved in the trainings and in the pilot modules has been multiplied towards 456 employees and members from 157 organisations.
