Summary of project results

The project was connected with an extension of the plant, and included purchase of a new waste washing and sorting line, and building of installations related to the environment, such as a sewage filtration station, a recuperation system, and a heat and rain water recovery system Installation of the new production line not only increases the range of Optima’s services of washing and separating the extremely contaminated waste like for example polyethylene, polypropylene PP and printed materials, but also increases the efficiency and reduce the power consumption per individual product. New line allows to produce around 2000 tons of plastic granulate yearly. The company also created 8 new, green jobs in a rural region with high unemployment rate.
