Description

The main objective of the project is protection of heritage based on cultural diversity. The project outputs will be: field research regarding wooden secular architecture in the Podkarpackie, developing model forms of modern architecture, study visit to Norway and Poland for representatives of conservators, researches and historic conservation services, National Conservation Camp, publications and conferences, etc. The group of direct project recipients includes: local leaders, engaged in activities concerning the cultural heritage protection of the area, tourism industry, local and regional media. Cultural heritage can be protected by essential knowledge and adequate experience provided. In this respect, the Applicant will benefit and rely on the knowledge and experience of the Partner Vest-Telemark Museum.Common renovation work, training and documentation will improve renovation techniques in both countries.

Summary of project results

Summary of bilateral results

The organizational and substantive role of the Partner included: assistance in organizing and planning the schedule of the study visit to Norway, an exhibition of contest entries in the Partner’s premises allowing the info about the project to spread among Norwegians, the participation of Norwegian experts in the conversations camp of and scientific conference “Wooden Sacrum and Profanum”. The applicant plans to maintain contacts with a partner and co-operation in the future.
