Description
The project is needed to fulfill the requirements for environmental protection according to Polish and European strategic documents under the EU Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU). The installation is currently not meeting the standards set out in Directive. The objective of the project is the reduction of dust emission to a level not exceeding 25 Mg/Nm3, as required by the environmental protection provisions resulting from the Industrial Emissions Directive. The expected results include dust emission reduction (improvement of environmental quality) and reduction in electricity demand. The results will be achieved through the modernization of the electrostatic precipitators by exchanging its internal components (electrical and automation system) in order to adapt the company to environmental requirements. The project will, in addition to benefiting the environment, help the company in meeting necessary environmental standards, and will benefit the local community, which is the spa town Inowrocław.
Summary of project results
The project results have been achieved in 100% - modernized two boilers and electrostatic dust monitors were exchanged. The implementation of the project contributed to the improvement of air quality as the emission of pollutants was significantly reduced. The indicated results of the project after 12 months of operation of modernized boiler electrostatic precipitators reached the result: dust: 165793 Mg / year, Electricity production 100%.
