Description

The reason for the implementation of the project is the goal of RADPEC SA to reduce greenhouse gas and dust emissions through the modernization of flue gas dust removal units and by increasing the efficiency of boilers. The main objective of the project is to adapt existing installations to the requirements of Directive 2001/80/EC on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the atmosphere from combustion sources, leading to the reduction dust emissions. The project will contribute to the creation of a completely new flue gas dust removal installation, which will make the energy production more environmentally friendly and reduce greenhouse gas and dust emissions. To solve the problem of emissions, RADPEC S.A. plans to modernize two flue gas dust removal units for two WR-25 boilers as well as installations that will allow an increase of the efficiency of boiler WR-25 no. 4. The investment will have a positive impact on the environment, the company, local residents, as well as the national economy.

Summary of project results

Existing installations have been adapted to the requirements of Directive 2001/80 / EC on the limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from combustion sources above 50 MW. Thanks to the project, a completely new flue gas removal installation has been created, which makes the production of energy more environmentally friendly. Greenhouse gas emissions and dust emissions are reduced. Two dust removal units for two WR-25 boilers have been modernized, as well as installations that will increase the efficiency of the WR-25 boiler. 4. This investment has a positive impact on the environment, the company, the inhabitants, and the national economy. The investment has improved the air protection. The planned ecological effect included in the Final Report is: CO2 [Mg / year] - 678 SO2 [Mg / r] - 2.3 NOx [Mg / year] - 0.8 CO [Mg / yr] - 0.3 dust [Mg / year] - 1.8
