Description
The aim of the project is to reduce the polluting emissions of exhaust flue gases from the existing heat and power plant by installing a flue gas treatment plant with units for flue gas desulfurization, denitrification and dedusting. The reduction of pollutants from the exhaust flue gases of the heat and power plant will enable it to fulfill the new emission standards for combustion plants using coal. More specifically, the flue gas treatment plant will significantly reduce SO2, NOx and dust emissions, thereby bringing the heat and power plant into accordance with the new emission standards defined in the directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. The beneficiaries of the project will be Grupa Azoty S.A. (formerly Zaklady Azotowe w Tarnowie-Moscicach S.A.), local residents and the environment in the surrounding areas.
Summary of project results

Paid amount is lower than final grant amount approved in final report. It is due to the fact, that final payment was decreased by the grant paid prevoiusly in excessive amount together with interest. Project was ended after eligibility date (30.04.2017) from Beneficiary's own funds on the basis of PO approval.
