Description

The need for the project stems from the fact that many public buildings use old technologies.The project will include the following activities: At the offices of the district authorities (starost): improved thermal insulation of walls, modernization of the central heating installation, modernization of the ventilation installation including the heat recovery, replacement of current lighting for energy-saving one; At the II LO: improved thermal insulation of walls and roofs, modernization of the central heating and hot water and heating source installation, window woodwork replacement. The project will deliver the following results: Reduction of the central heating costs, general improvement of the building appearance, improvement of the conditions, reduction of greenhouse gasses and other pollutants into the atmosphere. The main beneficiaries are the local community and citizens using the public buildings, students, teachers, etc. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under EEA FM

Summary of project results

Many public utility buildings in Konecki District have been build in old technologies and were energy ineffective. Thermomodernisational works covered 3 public utility buildings (including schools), thanks to them after projects ending costs connected with buildings usage and air pollution will be lower. Within the project over 14 thousand of m2 of partition were insulated, over 400 windows and doors were replaced. 2 heat sources and 99 ventilation installations with heat recovery were modernised. 170 photoviltaic cells and 4 heat pumps were installed. Interior lighting was exchanged for ecological one. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (2432 Mg/year). The project delivered following results: reduction of the central heating costs, general improvement of the building appearance, improvement of the conditions, reduction of greenhouse gasses and other pollutants into the atmosphere.
