Description

The project is focused on the thermo-modernization of a primary school building in Jaworze municipality. At present, the building is characterized by weak technical condition and big energy demand. The activity range of thermo-modernization is based on reliable solutions that guarantee obtaining the expected results. Through the project the following tasks will be implemented: i) insulation of a flat roof external wall, ii) insulation of the gym roof, iii) insulation of attic ceiling, iv) replacement of wooden windows, v) replacement of the entrance doors, vi) modernization of heating system, vii) installation of new radiators, viii) installation of thermostatic radiator valves, ix) installation of control valves, x) changing heat source from solid fuel for gas-fired boilers, xi) installation of weather sensors, xii) regulation of heating source working time. Only materials and devices that fulfill modern standards will be used for this modernization.

Summary of project results

The investment on the basis of measures EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 contributed to reducing the energy required to heat a building, as well as improving conditions for the people staying there. It has changed the image of the object. Completed works are characterized by high durability. In addition, it conducted an information campaign closer residents and guests residing issues related to renewable energy and climate protection. Project allowed to gain experience that will pay off in the future, including during the implementation of new projects on the basis of measures EEA Financial Mechanism. Thanks to projects implementation one public utility building was thermomodernized, 2 boilers were exchanged. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (354,02 Mg/year).
