Description

The main objective of the project is to improve the energy and environmental efficiency of the building of the Pavilion Hospital No 1. The building was built in the 1970s and has not been renovated or modernised since then. The technical condition of the building is very poor and its level of energy efficiency is very low. The modernisation of the building under this project will will lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions and in the consumption of energy for heat and electricity. CO2 emissions will be reduced by 745.2 Mg / year. This will be achieved through the implementation of thermo-insulation of the building by partitions, the replacement of window frames and doors, and the modernisation and replacement of internal built-in energy-efficient lighting. The project will benefit patients at the hospital and their staff. Furthermore the local community as a whole will benefit from the reduction in emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Summary of project results

Project's material scope has been extended, additional works have been financed within EEA. Thanks to co-financing it was possible to fulfil complex thermomodernisation of 6 public utility buildings. 482 RES devices have been installed and 7 internal installations modernised. Integrated lighting was replaced for the energysaving. 482 photovoltaics were installed. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (1994,92 Mg/year). The Beneficiary emphasized that projects implementation enables to improve air quality and increase conditions of patients treatment.
