Come here! Association as a legal representative helps young mothers on maternity leave by protecting them from discrimination on their workplace during bringing up their 0-3/0-8 year old children. The association also helps mothers getting back to the labor market to get a smooth process with no adverse selection. The project counts on the association membership, based on who comes up with a support group, which provides ongoing advice and mentoring for members of the target group. Under the project, we organize a training for disadvantaged mothers, continuously provide the project for the public and cooperate with the non-governmental organizations and institutions of the county.
Summary of project results
During their project a communications and legal training have been implemented involving the main stakeholders. During the training participants an advocacy and lobbying group was created from young moms and dads (lawyers and non-lawyers) which has got 12 members and which provides legal advice to young mothers. Occasionally based on emerging legal affairs discussion and solutions were achieved.The core of the project was that their consultants gave consultancy services weekly together with baby-clubs with the presence of two Senior Advisors. They create a case diary to realize the problems and record the methods of solutions. They have tried to contact non-governmental organizations, which were dealing with women and mothers in the city in order to popularize our advise service the one hand, and on the other hand, to find our target group members who need advice. The cooperating organizations: Equal Treatment Authority, Nyíregyháza, Tabulapláza Foundation, Nyíregyháza.
