"In our county there are living cca 2600 head sightlesses. There is no method to prepare the society for living and working with blind people, which is supported by the state. This is the root of daily conflicts and leads to the exclusion of sightless many times. Our program's goal is to introduce the sighted to reasons of sight-loss,no-sight experience and way of effective giving assistance. We have to inform the participants should share it among others, and in an encounter between a blind and a not blind person the sighted should be a cooperator. After the live through experience,start a activity on emotion level,what realisation purposively cooperation. We take sensitizing with reality situation,with blindfold traffic and helping by a blind etc. In the project we train 200 students and 10customer service staff,in that all participants are contacting potentially one or more blind people during 2 years. Cooprative With society of Blind in our county."
Summary of project results
"We want to achieve to approach the blind ones and weak-sighted with our sensitizing program openly without shame. We outlined daily situations in our program and gave advices that all participants can provide their arms with pleasant feeling for the eyesight injured ones.We visited the schools and institutions directly with the obtained devices and equipments in the framework of relocating. In the framework of our project more than two hundred schoolchild and official employee got to knew of the correct manner of the helping of the blind ones and eyesight injured ones, with devices helping in their life, their everyday life. The helping eyesight injured contributed the sharing of their personal experiences that our message: the eyesight value, but with eyesight injure can live a full life and to be successful in the clairvoyants' environment.The project is successful among the students and the adults. We introduce our program in a school camp, for international youth group in Summer."
