Description

The project aims to degrading treatment in the workplace sexual harassment, degrading treatment of women and workplace mobbing reduction in Hungary. The target groups are victims of violence (mainly women), employers, and the problem, interested NGOs, national and two regions of the country. The project activities on the one hand provide immediate assistance to victims of violence, on the other hand, employers and the public shaping directed training and communication campaign, as well as by civil society, professionals are prepared for prevention, intervention and case management. The project is realized cooperationing RÉV Alapítvány (Nyíregyháza), HÍD Egyesület (Miskolc) and other NGOs. The project is a result of reduced workplace bullying and mobbing of events, an increase in the rejection, employers and civil society organizations are well prepared to address the problem,and prevention of the problems.

Summary of project results

The main reason of project is that the mobbing and sexual harassment spread in Hungarian workplaces justified. The main goal of the project was to take actions against these activities involving other non-governmental organizations, as well as mentoring, giving psychological and legal assistance to the victims. The purpose was to involve employers, informing the public about these activites with the possibilities of step against them. During the project, 31 people victims were provided with personal assistance, in 113 cases anonymously helped to the victims, 15 employers has been assisted, in numerous articles and case descriptions were reported, flashmobs were taken, five short films were produced, non-violent workplace models, protocols have been developed , two publications were published, developed an e-learning curriculum, workshops were held. The project contributed to the development of workplace culture and suppression of violent mobbing events.
