Description

Our project works out professional teaching and workshop occupation of people living with autism. In the course of our three-year project we would like to create social enterprise antedated by several years experience, consideration, workshops, market research and business plan. Our vision is to increase the equal employment opportunity of the people living with autism that we want to achieve with high quality trainings, employment and manufacturing high quality products. We had a big change and stability this February by opening our teaching centre in the fifth district in Budapest. This centre ensures one of the places of the 3D teaching and workshops for our project. We plan a Opening Ceremony this June. With this project we wish to reach the stability and independence of our foundation, improvement of the partnerships and mainly the development of the life quality of our target group. In our workshops we produce 400 products. More experiences are found on our page: www.inoka.hu.

Summary of project results

The project of INOKA Foundation helped people living with autism get professional education and manual skill, which gives them a better chance for equal employment. The teachers created an e-learning material, prototypes and syllabus needed for the tuition and began the education of 19 students. The tuition is followed by an exam and then the production of unique handcrafted items using 3D technology. The 3D and creative workshops together made 400 products, most of which were sold during the project. The Foundation put great emphasis on the involvement of volunteers which in this case meant 15 volunteer students. The young people with autism were mentored in collaboration with the National Association of Autists (AOSZ). Thanks to the allowance the Foundation purchased the raw materials and resources for the education and the needed expensive 3D printer. The Foundation took every opportunity to show its achievements on social media and on the opening and closing events.
