Description

1 million people above age 40 live in single household in Hungary. 16.6 % of the population suffers from chronic disease incl. disabilities, out of this 77 % is above age 50. The clients of DélUtán represent mainly these groups and 92 % of the callers complain about isolation and wish to seek friendship or to find a partner. We want to a development of a highly secured web surface as a contact resource for the target group. Achievements include relieve of the extreme loneliness of the target group thus improvement of the quality of life, improved professional capacities of volunteers and highly demanded service to the target group. We will address the challenges through interactive, long-term sustainable secured web surface – TársasTér - supported by on-line and help-line service. People above age 40 living without social contacts in isolation and people living with physical disability, will benefit from this project. Our project partners are the National Federation of Disabled Persons Associations and Budapest Association of Disabled Person.
