Description
Segregation of farm inhabitants, the lack of community events and state financed opportunities – make self-organized civil initiatives necessary. Children in extreme poverty have limited chance to attend community events. In order to help to quit the self-reinforcing segregation process, we motivate them with making it possible for them to take responsibility for the community, develop sport talents, improve self-confidence. Self-knowledge, self-improvement and selfless community activities dissolve their frustration, partly compensate social handicaps and improve life quality. With local experts and civilians, our aim is to show an example and to ensure their right to equality, joy, health, sport. Our target group is children aged 6-12 and 13-16, also involving local families. We cooperate with 10 primary schools, councils, also with sport clubs, associations, implementers as well as civil volunteers of Békéscsaba. Headmasters and educators will help with recruitment and dormitory placements. Sport associations will help to organize trainings, and voluntary work.
Summary of project results
The children mostly live in a student hostel or they travel to school about 15km the big part of this is done on foot.Their fate is decided from the beginning because of this.It's necessary to pick the children out of this medium and onto this one,maybe best method the sport.The results appear numerically and these results here in the county the partner schools and partner it is carried beyond sport organisations appearing was the children and the media on a sign in the course of the project.The project expanded on the children's closing the gap,the opportunity of the eruption and the alteration of the parents' attitude with a positive direction in a rain row.Of course the well-established sport clubs also attracted attention during this project.The participants the project are absolutely does they best to meet the requirements.The attitude of two schools was negative,with who we did'n knit a partnership.The sports clubs and the children got to know each other.
