Playing sports is desirable and beneficial for both adults and children. Exercise keeps health, affects the physical development, helps the development of qualities and skills of the child as well as adoption of motor skills and achievements. In this project we want to solve the problem of lack of bowling and a concrete ping-pong table in the area where it is not so busy and as such perfect for socializing children and young people. Children develop independence through sport, easier to make friends and improve the ability to concentrate. Sport promotes a healthy lifestyle, encourages team spirit, discipline develops and promotes the formation of working habits. The goal is to improve the quality of life of children through a small school of bowling and small school of ping-pong, where will volunteers educate children to understand the importance of physical exercise which helps them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Children and young people will be provided space for recreational bowling and ping-pong in his spare time, socializing, entertainment and fun.
Summary of project results
The implementation of the action is made bowls and set the outdoor table for table tennis. The goal is achieved through new facilities that improve the quality of life of children and provide them a great source of leisure activities. Children are trained volunteers in order to better understand the importance of physical exercise that helps them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. Directly benefit from actions had children and youth of the City of Pleternica and its surroundings. The move contributed to the development community that this action triggered on further action. Similar examples have been copied in other settlements from the City of Pleternica. The tournament "Children of parents" moved the boundaries, engaged the whole community that is enriched by a meaningful space for recreational bowling and table tennis in their free time, socializing, leisure and entertainment.
