Participating scientists received a firm grasp of what expectations the new generation has. The target group got an excellent idea of what the Estonian Naturalists´ Society is and how they could be a part of that group. The main questions answered were "where to next" and " how can I participate". The various activities included but were not limited to practical application exercise taking water samples from the lake Võrtsjärv to study the water qualities in the laboratory and using the e-plant database to identify trees, participants studied about local nature and aquatic wildlife in Otepää.
