Description

The objective of this project is to increase the operational capability, leadership performance and professionalism of the network members of The Center of Excellence in School Improvement Foundation. The project consists of three parts. Firstly - developing and carrying out strategy seminars to assure more network members are included in the leadership processes and that the organization is developing. Secondly - team supervisions will be carried out to specify job roles and understand one’s contribution to the team, so that a better personal and organizational development will be assured. Team supervisions will also focus on coping with work related stress and enhancing cooperation. Thirdly - internal trainings will be carried out to enliven communication between network members, to assure each member the possibility for professional development, to share knowledge, to develop mentoring between network members and to bring services in accordance to organization values.

Summary of project results

When analysing the efficiency of the organization it was found that the NGO needs a clear strategy, better communication and new ideas. Therefore, the objective of the project was to renew the organisational strategy and communication plan and also to create and execute new ideas for action. For this participatory methods and inclusive development were used and different forms of cooperation were employed – strategy seminars, supervision workshops and team training. As a result of the project agenda, communication strategy of the organisation were created and presented to the project's participants and team members, and three new educational and social initiatives were developed. For sustainable implementation of the results specific roles were created and the tasks were assigned to team members and educators. Mentors were assigned and follow up meetings were scheduled. Results were documented, educational materials and guides were published.
