Description
The goal is to eliminate gender inequality in education, to break down gender stereotypes and prejudices, and to contribute to gender sensitivity of the target groups. We will contact 50 regional educational organisations to participate in the competition for the most original screenplay on the gender-related topic. We offer them educational and methodological support for the topic (5 discussions and seminars), and create interactive teaching materials (5 types) and suggestions for the harmonisation day with a gender accent. We also provide gender advice to individuals. The expert committee will select the 3 best themes – these will be converted into short films with the participation of authors, professional actors and a film crew, supervised by the gender guarantor. Movies will be shown in the first gender mini-festival in the Czech Republic and will be available on DVD as well as via websites and social networks. The successful authors will be introduced at the festival. The main winner will be determined by an audience vote.
Summary of project results
V regionálních školách panovalo velmi nízké povědomí o gender vzdělávání. Nedostávalo se ani materiálů, které by se daly použít ve výuce. Studenti neměli příležitost zažít výuku zohledňující genderové aspekty. Neexistovalo propojení kulturních a vzdělávacích aktivit v oblasti gender. Výstupy: 6 typů výukových materiálů; 9 seminářů pro studenty a učitele (o 4 více oproti původnímu plánu); 1 soutěž o nejlepší filmový scénář (72 přihlášených) a první studentský festival na téma gender; 1 fundraisingová kampaň k získání financí na cenu pro vítězný film. Dopad: 25 učitelů se dozvědělo jak vyučovat gender. 95 studentů se zúčastnilo debat jako autoři, dobrovolníci nebo kompars. 50 jednotlivců a 10 firem se podílelo jako sponzoři, dobrovolníci atd. Vznikly tři krátké filmy na téma gender a další metodická videa. Získali jsme 15 000 Kč pro vítěze soutěže. Díky spolupráci s partnery a komunikaci „na míru“ s využitím audiovizuálních formátů se nám podařilo propojit cílové skupiny. Pokračujeme v pořádání seminářů pro školy, čímž je zajištěna udržitelnost projektu. V současné době realizujeme „ozvěny festivalu“. Největším úspěchem byl vyprodaný festival
