Description

The project addresses the need to boost the applicant’s financial and organizational sustainability and capacity. The project aims at boosting the capacity via a series of trainings of the applicant’s staff. First, 15 staff members of the applicant will be trained in festival management, marketing, fundraising and working with donors, volunteering. Second, the Strategy for the Organizational Development for 2015-2020 will be prepared. Third, a website of the organization will be developed to raise its visibility. Finally, a conference room will be renovated on the applicant’s premises for different events. The project will benefit the applicant’s staff and clients in the local community in the village of Kurtovo Konare.

Summary of project results

The expected project results were achieved as follows: - new skills were acquired and new participants involved in the activities of the organisation; - SWAT analysis was done and a strategy for organizational development was developed; - Increased recognition of the organisation through use of various visual resources - logo, slogan, information and advertising brochure and website; - improved infrastructure and working conditions; - promoted project and shared experience. - a "Teamwork and volunteering" Team-building was conducted with 10 representatives of the organisation; - 15 representatives were trained in "Marketing of traditional products"; - 15 volunteers and two representatives of the executive team acquired skills for strategic planning; - accomplished three mentoring programmes; - accomplished one study tour with 6 representatives of the organization; - 302 citizens from the local community participated in the survey for the preparation of the of the organization’s strategy; - 500 copies of the leaflet were disseminated; - a website of the organisation was created; - a multifunctional room (60 sq.m) was renovated; - information about the project was publicized 21 times on the internet; - two information events about the project with 41 participants were conducted.
