Second, an online communication campaign will be held in Facebook. Third, 30 participants will be selected and a civil discussion forum Make a school will be held in Sofia and Plovdiv. Finally, after the new model has been developed and tested, recommendations to the policy-makers will be submitted. Summary of project results

The Bulgarian school urgently needs a new definition created together with all concerned social groups. The project offers tools to include these social groups in a moderated discussion via communication channels developed under the project. The project aimed at mobilizing the public and encouraging the stakeholders to contribute to solving problems in the education system. The public has been mobilized on two levels, broadly via online tools and in depth in small groups working in 2 localities (Sofia and Plovdiv) via the “Create a school” Forum. The forum aimed at creating a new school model. A 5-step training programme was developed to create a school model that can be applied for other education initiatives in the community. The programme was prepared by people with diverse occupational background and experience. The participants improved their skills and started joining actively the educational initiatives via the newly-created NGOs. The main project outcomes include a website, Fanpage and a Facebook group, a forum design, a school model, achievements in the education policies, 6 lessons and videos. The main target groups include civil formations, decision-makers, NGOs and local communities. These people took part via the online channels providing information and fora and their interaction took place in a democratic and creative environment. These are the main factors conducive to the creation of a common vision about the contemporary school. The children had lessons based on the new school model. The use of online communication tools between the project participants ensured sustainability of the project results that was further strengthened by the adaptability of the school model to various community environments.
