Description

The project addresses the need to improve the financial and organizational sustainability of the applicant. The project aims at boosting the applicant’s capacity through a series of training courses for its Board members, employees and volunteers. 3 two-day courses will be organized for 15 of the applicant’s employees and volunteers. The courses will be in the following 3 areas: administrative and financial management, marketing and fundraising; information and communication literacy; community-based social services management and delivery. The project will benefit the applicant, its Board members, employees and volunteers by improving their competence and knowledge as well as indirectly the applicant’s clients who will receive better quality services.

Summary of project results

The project addressed the need to improve the financial and organizational sustainability of the beneficiary. The project implementation helped develop rules and systems for administrative and financial management, an electronic document flow and a methodology for social services, overcome the identified weaknesses in the management of the beneficiary’s financial and human resources. The beneficiary’s financial and organizational sustainability improved and the communication culture and recognition as a leading regional structure of the patients’ NGO network. The team acquired legal, information and communication literacy and skills to manage social services for patients. The organization had internal rules, financial control and monitoring systems, e-forms and rules for an electronic document flow introduced. The training organized helped the team become experienced in using an online platform/virtual office and communication channels to contact users - patients and other at-risk groups. The following project outputs were delivered: Report on the organization’s assessment, identified problems and recommendations made; revision of the website with a new brand/visual identity of the organization; an online platform (virtual office) developed and integrated on the organization’s website; three training packages developed.
