Description

The project proposal aims at providing better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment through the construction of highly efficient heating systems and increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in municipal objects: Kindergarten "Elitsa" - Madan town and Secondary school "St. St. Kiril and Metodii" – Varbina village. In qualitative and quantitative regarding the project achieved the following result indicators: - better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment in the provision of educational services in 1 (one) municipal building (Secondary school "St. St. Kiril and Metodii" - Varbina village), which services are used by the entire population of the peripheral in Madan municipality settlements, - better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment in the provision of educational services in 2 (two) municipal buildings, forming Block "A" and Block "B" (Kindergarten "Elitsa"), which services are used annually average by 247 children up to 5 years old as the administrative and supporting staff is 31 people. Indirect affected population with permanent address - Madan town - 6 494 people according to data from Civil Registration and Administrative Services to 20.01.2015. - implemented measures to use renewable energy in 3 buildings of municipal social infrastructure - 1 institution providing educational services for the population, constituting Secondary school in Varbina village, Madan municipality and 2 buildings, which provide educational services for children up to 5 years of age constituting a Kindergarten in the town of Madan, Madan municipality

Summary of project results

Completed improvements in the project, providing better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment, through construction of highly efficient heating systems and increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in municipal buildings. As a result of project implementation comfortable living environment was created and was achieved energy efficiency on the base of renewable energy resources, respectively saved energy, energy costs, C02 emissions. In qualitative and quantitative regarding the project are achieved the following result indicators: • better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment in the provision of educational services in 1 municipal building (Secondary school "St. St. Kiril and Metodii" - Varbina village), which services are used by the entire population of the peripheral in Madan municipality settlements. Annual average - the passed students are 102, and administrative and supporting staff are 21 people, all directly affected by the project. Indirect affected target group for which is provided educational Infrastructure and services is the population of Varbina mayoralty/region; • better conditions, modern and comfortable living environment in the provision of educational services in 2 municipal buildings, forming Block "A" and Block "B" (Kindergarten "Elitsa"), which services are used annually average by 247 children up to 5 years old as the administrative and supporting staff is 31 people. Implemented measures for using renewable energy in 3 buildings of municipal social infrastructure - 1 institution providing educational services for the population, constituting Secondary school in Varbina village, Madan municipality and 2 buildings, which provide educational services for children up to 5 years of age constituting a Kinder garden in the town of Madan, Madan municipality. After the implementation of the energy efficiency measures, generalized by the project are expected: • 66 308 MWh annual reduction of energy consumption; • 17 393,72 euros per year reduction of the energy costs; • 120,042 t annual reduction of C02 emissions.
