Description
The project proposal aims at implementing energy efficiency measures in the municipal center for family-type accommodation and thus to contribute to the emission reduction, and to the creation of energy efficiency society and additionally to minimize the social disparities in the area. This project proposal targets two main problems concerning the energy usage and energy efficiency in the municipality center for family-type accommodation. The project realization will provide direct increase to the energy performance and to more effective recourse consumption. The equipment provided under the project will be solely used to continue to be used for the project purposes and the project promoter will ensure its appropriate maintenance. The center for family-type accommodation in municipality is a social service residential, which provides a living environment for children care deprived of parental by helping them to gain a complete growth and adequate upbringing. The main objective of the project is to improve the living conditions for the children, through the implementation of the planned package of energy efficiency measures, namely: replacement of existing heat source depreciated low-efficiency boiler, solid fuel - coal with manual feed of fuel with an energy efficient installation, renewable source of heat energy: boiler with pellets and automated fuel supply. The replacement of existing highly amortized, outdated and not energy efficient heating installation will support the practical implementation of energy efficient measures on the territory of municipality and will contribute to the reduction of economic and social disparities for these children.
Summary of project results
The project has achieved its main objective - implementing of efficiency measures in municipal center for family-type accommodation, Novo selo. Municipality of Novo selo have improved the professional competence of the municipal employees for more effective and efficient implementation of obligations and generated positive results that will continue to operate as acquired skills, experience and qualifications in the performance of duties in the municipal administration. The project realization solves two main problems concerning energy consumption and energy efficiency in the municipal center for family-type accommodation. It will provide direct increase of the energy efficiency of the building and decrease of energy consumption. An existing highly amortized heating installation on solid fuel - coal with manual feed of fuel was replaced with a renewable source of heat energy - boiler with pellets and automated fuel supply. The implementation of energy efficient measures will reduce the CO2 emissions by 115 CO2 tones/year and increase the saved energy by 177 MWh/year. In addition, the hygiene in the building will be improved.
