Description

The project will be aimed to training applicant of project by the National institute of public health (NIPH) experts to understand the epidemiological dietary data. The main concern will be to follow up on the previous cooperation creating the dietary patterns from available data from Czech longitudinal cohort study ELSPAC to establish toxicological patterns. These patterns will be able to find groups of people those habits led to the higher exposure of selected food contaminants. NIPH is very eligible tutor since it is involved in many similar population studies. There is, up to knowledge of applicant, no Czech institution creating and working with these patterns so far and this approach is very rare elsewhere. Cooperation and relevant help will be obtained from two institutions: NIPH and Oslo and Akershus University (HiAO). Involvement of two excellent workplaces from Norway will increase the benefit of the mobility.

Summary of project results

Project goals have been achieved. Toxicological evaluation of the dietary patterns have been done based on the Czech epidemiological data. Results obtained in this study are being finalized into epidemiological article, which will be send for publication in near future to the some of the impacted journals within the scientific fields of nutritional toxicology and environmental pollution . Seminar based on the outcomes of the trainee will be presented on the seminar 8.10.2015. Invitation is attached.
