Description
The job-shadowing staff mobility will enable applicant to learn good practices in the field of management of the international office issues related to her work, in the area of coordinating student exchange mobilities and ways and measures of how to enhance the internationalisation process. It will also give her chance to discuss practical issues such as foreign student integration into the receiving university environment, the offer of programmes and courses taught in foreign languages and increase of student and staff mobilities, common research and other forms of close partnership. This experience will help applicant significantly in the management of her work tasks and the extension of interinstitutional agreements will be beneficial for our students and staff. The applicant hope to get to know useful internationalisation strategies, implement them into internationalisation plan and put them into practice.
Summary of project results
During thr stay Beneficiary was introduced to the whole university environment (facts+figures, facilities, 2 campuses – Porsgrunn and Bo ), with her colleague from the International Office they discussed common fields of our daily work agenda (management of international office agenda and problem solving, student mobilities – in and out, student services, study programmes/courses, e-learning, international cooperation with EU and non EU countries – good and bad experiences, attendance at education fairs worldwide etc.).
