According to UNHCR and UNICEF Bulgaria, since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine, 450,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Bulgaria, 124,489 are registered for temporary protection and 87,000 remained on the territory of the country. The main goal of the project is to create a safe space for integration, education, and culture for refugees and migrants. The Integration Centre targets refugees, third-country nationals seeking/receiving protection as the main target group are displaced persons from Ukraine and the local community.
