The bilateral initiative aimed to facilitate the exchange of best practices between the Romanian and Norwegian education systems, through a study visit to Romania by teaching staff from two Norwegian schools.

The proposed bilateral activities offered teachers from the two countries the opportunity to share information and experiences regarding national education systems and the tools used to reduce school dropout and facilitate the learning process for children with learning difficulties (SEN), to establish future partnerships and collaborations.

Summary of the results

- 31 participants in the bilateral activities, 25 Romanians (teachers, representatives of local authorities, the promoter and the project partner and 6 Norwegians (teaching staff).

- future cooperation activities proposed by Norwegian schools and accepted by Romanian schools, in the framework of a long-term partnership that will begin by carrying out online activities with the participation of primary school students, in March 2024 which will target both the exchange cultural traditions during the celebration of Easter in Romania and Norway, as well as the development of communication skills and expressiveness in native languages ​​and in English; the two initiatives (Kampen Skole –Castranova High School and Aktivitetsskkolen, Noklevann-Gura Văii school) will help the sustainability of the project "LUCK in Education" (Norwegian-Romanian Initiative for Quality in Education)".

- facilitating the creation of networks between schools for the implementation of joint activities/projects in the future: Kampen Skole is already part of the network, Nøklevann Skole accepted the invitation to join the network during the visit to Romania;

- the bilateral activities were promoted through a press article regarding the results of the study visit and an announcement about the study visit published on the schools'' social media channels and www.edu noroc.org.
