Description
The purpose of the visit is to carry out the activities of the Bilateral Cooperation Fund of the Program and to strengthen the bilateral relations between Norway and Lithuania, as well as to gain experience from the institutions of the Norway in implementing the measures of the Program. During the visit, meetings are planned with representatives of the Norwegian Directorate of Health, Baerum municipality and specialists providing emotional counseling services. Summary of the results
The two-day study visit to Norway on the implementation and improvement of the Well-being Advisers model was conducted. Study visit took place in Oslo and Baerum municipalities on 23-24 October 2023. Representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Hygiene, and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (PDP3 project promoter) participated in the study visit from Lithuanian side. Meetings were held with representatives from Bærum municipality, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health. During these meetings, representatives exchanged experiences on organizing and implementing low-intensity CBT-based interventions. Anette Jørve Ingjer, a representative from the Directorate of Health, explained the financing mechanism of the prompt mental health care model, and a representative from the PDP3 project promoter dr. Julija Gečaitė-Stončienė shared experiences on the development and implementation of the Well-being Advisers model in Lithuania. The study visit was useful for adaptation of Well-being advisors model conducted by PDP3 project promoter. The bilateral activity was implemented later than planned due to the reorganization of institutions on the Norwegian side and the availability to host representatives from Lithuania.
