Summary of the results

The initiative, part of the ACF strategic project "Youth Participation Platform," aimed to enhance youth awareness and involvement in civic initiatives in Latvia. It focused on strengthening cooperation between the Latvian organization "Creative Minds for Culture" (CMC) and the Norwegian NGO "Participation Agency." The exchange in Norway provided an opportunity to learn about the partner organization''s operational environment, Norwegian cultural aspects, and the development of civic participation, ultimately supporting the strategic project’s goals.

The four-day exchange strengthened collaboration, deepened understanding of youth participation, and explored best practices. Participants engaged in discussions about civic engagement in Norway and Latvia, visited youth inclusion initiatives, and explored collaboration opportunities. The program led to valuable insights on fostering youth inclusion, particularly in rural areas, and provided concrete proposals for future cooperation. The initiative also enhanced communication and trust between organizations, paving the way for future partnerships to promote youth advocacy and civic participation in both countries. It also laid the foundation for future cooperation, focusing on youth workers'' needs and the development of advocacy networks.
