Description

The aim of the initiative is to establish a research team with the capacity to investigate cohorts of the so-called “non-German” soldiers serving in the German armed forces in Norway (and the Nordic area treated as an integrated territorial zone) during the Nazi Germany’s occupation 1940-45, and to prepare, discuss and formulate a joint design for the future international research project. The basic core of the team of this initiative is created by two Czech experts (Institute of Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences) and three Norwegian experts (Norwegian University of Science
