Description

Employees don´t have Microsoft office. They cannot create tables, because they don´t have enough functions and graphs and they cannot work with large texts.
The main goal of the project is to have unified and common tools for the electronic work of the Alliance for Individualised Support (AIS).
Goal 1: Move from Google to Microsoft: move to the cloud (including use of desktop applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and migration of data and emails and acquisition of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Target group includes AIS staff who create extensive documents and analytical materials (including pdfs and presentations) for advocacy work. For this they need adequate tools, the current Google tools are not enough. The result will be more efficient work of AIS.
Goal 2: Buy 1 laptop for the office, as there are not enough computers for everyone in the office.

Summary of project results

1) Employees did not have Microsoft Office programs on their work laptops and could not edit documents, spreadsheets files.
AIP used GoogleDocs and GoogleSheets, they were insufficient (they do not have so many functions and charts, some tables created in Excel do not work 
at all in GoogleSheets, they do not have such options for working with extensive text - we create up to 100 pages of documents,
 employees complain about working with Google, or use their own Microsoft Office at home). 
This complicates joint work, and also some documents visually change after uploading from Microsoft to Google.
2) There was a shortage of laptops in the office = 3 laptops for 4 permanent workers. 
One of the workers, who does not have a medical condition, had to bring his own laptop to work, which is unprofessional.

1) The entire AIP moved to the Microsoft cloud and migrated data and emails.
Employees can now use the programs in the office (not at home), their work is more efficient: editing extensive texts, creating graphs... 
This reduced the risk of working with an outdated version of the document, and the documents do not change visually 
(due to switching between Google and Office).
2) We bought one laptop, 1 of the workers no longer needs to bring her own laptop to work, AIP is more professional

The main goal of the project was to have unified and common tools for the electronic work of AIP.
1st goal: move from Google to Microsoft: move to the cloud and migrate data and emails: goal accomplished. Employees use Word and Excel directly at work, they don''t have to solve some things at home on their own computers, which has resulted in overall efficiency of the organization.
Target group: all employees of the organization.

2nd goal: buy 1 laptop for the office: goal accomplished. The employee no longer has to carry her own laptop to work. The organization is more professional.
Target group: one employee of the organization.
