Summary of project results

Currently, sustainable development is a universal and obligatory component of study programs regardless of the field. The "Good Practices Manual" is a compendium of practical knowledge on the principles of creating e-teaching materials. The project is a response to the above-mentioned current needs.

All the project outcomes were completed as planned: - The Report on the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of e- learning at WSB; - a common concept 10 e-learning courses on sustainable development: 2 of them - Edu-Tech and Fossil Fuel Free courses were prepared by Norwegian lecturers (HVL), while the remaining 8 were developed by lecturers from UWSB Merito in Wrocław. All courses were given an attractive, interactive form, which was the task of UWSB Merito e-learning specialists. The structure of each course is similar, but their form (technical solutions) is consciously slightly different. This is due to the preferences of the course authors (specificity of the content provided) and different perceptions of the recipients. The e-courses were created in close cooperation of WSB Merito and HVL teams, so mutual expectations were met and consistency was maintained. Tests of two selected courses were conducted among students of UWSB Merito and HVL - a total of 101 testing students. E-courses have been adapted to the functionality of the Moodle WSB platform and are publicly available with the so-called "free access" on the OZE platform (Open Educational Resources:

"Handbook of Good Practices", which, together with the 10 e-courses, was presented at the international conference disseminating the project results on February 26, 2024 (75 participants) and during the Webinar, April 25, 2024, the participants of which were employees of the WSB Merito university holding (35 participants). In addition to numerous e-mail and telephone consultations and meetings in MS Teams, all planned project meetings were held at the Partner''s (HVL) and at UWSB Merito in Wrocław. The recipients of the project results - mainly interdisciplinary e-courses on sustainable development, with an attractive form and a flexible "self-study" formula - are and will be students of UWSB Merito in the following fields: Management, Logistics, Finance and Accounting, IT and Philology, as well as teaching staff, university authorities, OER users and, of course, students and teaching staff of the Norwegian partner - HVL. Currently, sustainable development is a universal and obligatory component of study programs regardless of the field.

Summary of bilateral results

Participation in the project was an opportunity for both universities to exchange expertise in environmental sciences - sustainable development and innovative forms of e-education. Thanks to close cooperation characterized by professionalism, openness and kindness, both project teams managed to develop intellectual output and achieve the assumed project goals. The HVL design team was happy to share its knowledge with the above-mentioned. fields, which was reflected in the developed e-courses: Edu Tech and Fossil Fuel Free. HVL lecturers also participated in testing selected e-courses among students and employees, providing materials for the Good Practices Manual and presenting intellectual achievements during dissemination events: international online conference (February 2024), Webinar (April 2024), as well as in the form of workshops for students and employees of HVL and UWSB Merito, conferences and meetings, at the local and international level, devoted to the topic of sustainable development and/or e-learning solutions in academic education, e.g. presentation of the project results at the International Conference on Education and New Developments 2024 (END 2024) organized by the World Institute for Advanced Research and Science (WIARS), Portugal.Participation in the project brought benefits to both Polish and Norwegian partners: improving the academic standards of both institutions by sharing knowledge in the field of environmental sciences and in the field of innovative, cutting-edge ICT solutions in education. In this way, both universities improved the quality of teaching, making it current and attractive for contemporary students, and also enriched their development prospects in teaching. Unlimited transfer of knowledge and promotion of intellectual achievements disseminated among other educational institutions in Europe are important advantages of the project. Both HVL and UWSB Merito in Wrocław plan to further expand the scope of cooperation.
