Description

We will organize an online lecture, 2 workshops and a debate, which aim to bring good practice from the Norwegian education system to future teacher educators, current and future teachers and the professional public. We will focus on wellbeing and inclusive education. The project responds to insufficient coverage of this topic in the field of teacher training. We aim for a minimum of 120 participants, mostly from future teacher educators, who will pass on this knowledge to future teachers who will create a safe environment for children in schools and develop wellbeing skills with them.

Summary of the results

The aim of the project was to organise four meetings containing educational activities for future teacher educators and to get at least 120 participants to these meetings. At the same time, we set the goal that these meetings would not be an end in themselves, but that the participants would inspire each other to improve their educational practice. We investigated this aspect by means of self-assessment questionnaires, which clearly showed that the participants rated the meetings as beneficial, were positive about the increase in their motivation to be interested in the individual topics (which were the central themes of the meetings) and above all were positive about the expansion of their professional tools (inspiration for their practice).
We were able to organise all four meetings (one of which was purely online, the other three were in hybrid form), getting the intended number of participants to attend them, and also getting confirmation of the usefulness of these events for the professional practice of our participants. Thus, the goals of benefiting the participants (educators of future teachers) and indirectly future Czech teachers, and thus children in Czech schools, were met.
The objectives at the organisational level were to gain experience of cooperation with a foreign partner and to create foreign contacts. In view of the above, these were logically achieved.
